(六)中方欢迎阿方加强同上海合作组织合作,支持阿方提升在上海合作组织中法律地位。阿方表明加入金砖国家的意愿,中方欢迎阿方参与金砖合作。

China welcomes Azerbaijan to strenghen cooperation with SCO, support elevation of Azerbeijan's legal status in SCO. Azerbaijan expressed willingness to join BRICS. China welcomes Azerbaijan's participation of BRICS cooperation.

Azerbaijan is dialogue partner of SCO, the next would be observer. We may soon see if it happens in the coming conference. It would be a nudge to Armenia to make a choice between flirting with the west or fully falling to the east, pretty much like Iran's joining SCO being a nudge to SA making a choice. This is what I always say "don't chase others to join, don't give preferance to anyone, let others to knock the door", in a bargain the chaser is the looser.

SCO Set Grow in Astana With Addition of Belarus

The SCO Summit will add Belarus to the roster. Xi and Putin are attending, but Modi is skipping.

Belarus will become an official SCO member. India becomes more and more ostracized within SCO.

India is losing interest in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

India has new friends to play with in the QUAD now.
If India gets out of SCO that will be biggest boost for SCO and it will likely increase its relevance. India is nothing but a spoiler for SCO. It was only because of Russia that India was included in the SCO.

Right now, India's presence in SCO and BRICS is a big problem

Although it is true that India has bad relations with China and would love to undermine them throughout Asia(which they don't have the capability of) you need to understand that an India isolated in Asia is a negative for China. Why amplify an unwanted nuisance?
Russia is China's ally and Russia has extensive military, economic relations with India. Russia - India relations are good for Russia which is a gain for China. Also China trades a lot with India, doesn't matter if they are hostile China has a good trade surplus, just sit back and keep filling those coffers.

The problem with Russia-India-China trade is that it isn't balanced. While Russian and Chinese trade is pretty much balanced with Russia selling commodities and China selling manufactured goods, with India they just import stuff from Russia and China, but they don't sell anything back on consequence. They balance things out by selling services to the West. That is the problem.

The solution is for China and Russian to import Indians, BUT India need to improve its QC first before the backlash set in.
