The Liaoning has left for sea trials on 31 august and so far no word yet of her return. That's 16 days now. Things look quiet because we are not getting the red meat of video's and photo's of planes landing and taking off from the ship. But in reality the carrier programme is in full swing. The J-15 is in production, the Liaoning is being overhauled and is now at sea, the navalized JL-9 is going into production and the pilots and crew are training hard albeit on land facilities for the moment. By the end of this year or more likely early next year when all these things come together, only then will we see the results of the hard work that is now being done behind the scenes.
