When will they start building that beast??
Has anyone heard of the Liaoning has she returned to port in Dalian ? Qingdao ? Hainan ?
Anyway here is a rather interesting photo from the Liaoning. Crew members line up to pay at the ship store. It seems that they are using cash to pay unlike on the USN carriers that have a special navy pay card system.

As far as I know cash may be also used aboard USN ships to make purchases in the ships stores.

Quite odd not seeing a pay card system. Multiple city uses different version of paycard already

Some more views of the modifications being made to Liaoning's test aparatus...
Assuming the modifications are to accommodate the larger AESA panels found on the 052D, the PLAN has abandoned the previous configuration of pairs of panels being adjacent to each other. I wonder if they are testing an upcoming modification for Liaoning or for the new indigenous carrier. For the latter, I assume they don't need a completely new test rig and can instead reuse Liaoning's for that purpose.
