That charger need no be for a IPAD plenty of mobile devices use such. The charger though is likely only plugged into a conventional style Chinese wall socket one of which is visible next to the TV. I highly doubt the PLA has wired the Leiyong with full civilian WiFi. More likely a PRC secure data system. A lot of western military's are using modified cloud based mobile devices on military networks. For example there have been reports of American pilots in the Navy, Air force and Marines trading in there map boards for Ipad tablets. And then there is the latest American infantry Nett warrior which uses a off the shelf tablet. The Israeli firm Elbit systems market a military specific mobile device called Raptor that is optimized to use a specialized tactical G3 based cellular network. Its possible that the charger might be attached to a Chinese tablet working on a ship board mobile network designed ZTE or Haiwie that is configured specifically for military apps.

A wonderful New Year's surprise!

I see three Type 054As, two Type 051Cs, and a ype 052C as escorts here to a Type 071 LPD and the Liaoning. There is alos another vessel in front of the Liaoning that we cannot see...but you can see its wake there.

A very nice grouping and nice to see them all at sea together exercising. Very nice pics.
