I have no doubt China is developing her own EMALS however 'developing' an EMALS systems and actually having a certified, operational one ready to be put on a ocean going carrier is a big gap.

Ummm...where is the floor drain? I mean there's a toilet, sink, and definitely a shower head, but where does the used shower water go?

Could just be right in front underneath the camera so it is right outside the image.

Holy smokes!!!!!!! Wow what a great set of pictures and the first time I have seen the sort of carrier escort we expect!

Look at the Type 052C sailing alongside the Liaoning, shame they changed the pennat system to white from black we could see the pennat otherwise anyhow we know what it is

Btw those pics shows a extremely well equipped and very comfortable sailing for PLAN sailors tip top accommodation and interior

How did someone get these shots? Must be someone sailing and traveling in the Z8 helos these are very very nice shots

Btw the Flankers in the fly past are the naval J11 or J15?

Someone has been given a lift in the Z8 and they have flown to the carrier strike group passing the Type 054A FFG and landing on the Liaoning great sets of pics I am suprised they have managed to take these pics

Some of those could be taken during the trip from Dalian to Hainan base.

Does anyone have the press release which gives the carrier escort vessals? It was two FFG and two DDG but see in this picture it looks like a Replenisment ships is sailing along or ship 88, I thnk it's ship hull 88

From these photos it is pretty clear that the PLAN have done a lot more comprehensive exercises than previous pictures had suggested.

Always something to keep in mind, especially for the liaoning. Just because they don't reveal to us select photos doesn't mean they haven't done it.
