The effect of the picture from the old year is slightly reduced to those with a critical eye by the lack of planes on liaoning's deck. May the new year put a full compliment of planes upon her deck, and give us glimpses of her younger sisters.

I see three Type 054As, two Type 051Cs, and a ype 052C as escorts here to a Type 071 LPD and the Liaoning. There is alos another vessel in front of the Liaoning that we cannot see...but you can see its wake there.

A very nice grouping and nice to see them all at sea together exercising. Very nice pics.

That right there is some power projection in becoming. I'm waiting for the production J-15s on the deck with hopefully some decent loads together with these escorts. That would be an awesome picture!

Very nice pictures. Too bad it was a misty day, if it was a clear day it would have been even more impressive.

If the first nuclear carrier is comng in 2034 then somebody needs to get fired! If China can build the world's biggest HST network in less than 10 years, then people would expect them to knock that **** - no foul language out in the same time frame :)
