Many Janes articles are based on rumorsm
however
We are not Russia wich is building aircraft for export only, it absolutely doesnt matter if we sell a few aircraft to turkey or not since some 700 pieces are already ordered by EU country's

How many F22 will the US recive? 200 ?

A little less. I think the original 435 requiremnet was but down to 179 or soemthing. If more budget problems airse, it may be cut more. There are currently 50-60 f-22's in service.

WHatever you are pedlling here on this forum is based purely on facts!!!

Tell that to consortium's centralized office that will be handling exports. They seem to be taking it all around the world just for the fun of it i guess. or maybe they wanna sell it in decent numbers so that it's price could be brought down.

And please don't compare it with F-22. We are talking about another generation and class. It's something like F-117 which was designed exclusively for USA.

Eurofighter doesn't belong in that class. Compare it with JSF, which is up for sales (even then it's tech is being protected from it's european customers!!!).

Another class?

Actually the EF2000 is currently the only Aircraft that has similar electronic capability's as F22

btw EADS had a design wich was very similar to F117 in 1980's when this was still Top Secret.

Can you prove that Janes is an unreliable source? Because if it is, people aren't going to pay hundreds of dollars a year for their subscription. Janes is probably one of the most reliable sources that anybody can count on. If Janes was mostly based on rumors, then the mods on this website (including myself) would not allow such links to be put on this forum:nono: . Most Janes articles are actually quite accurate.

The US will have approximately 183 F-22's, but the number can go up.

Now you're just getting desperate. Wait for a denyal/confirmation from the German Gov. at least; if a resource as large as Janes reported it, surely it'll catch the attention of the Pak or German gov.

Yes. A true fifth generation aircraft, based on a doctirne that would dictate future air conflicts. Fundamentally based on stealth unlike the late fourth gen aircrafts which incorporated "stealthiness" as an advanced feature.

Actually the EF2000 is currently the only Aircraft that has similar electronic capability's as F22
And stealth in F-22 is designed to defeat just that. Can you say the same about Typhoon??

(God why am i getting dragged into this:confused: )

They were not the only ones :) I also had a design. And guess what, Americans beat both of us (EADS and me) by implementing it while we couldn't materialize our designs. :p

I rarely get involved in topics but this is just pathetic.

Janes Defence Weekly reports based on rumour???

It is not matter of whether Pakistan will buy eurofighter or not. It is not even matter of if Germany government will "allow" or "block" the sale of eurofighters to Pakistan. The only question that comes to mind is that what is Ger_mark's problem with Pakistan?

Janes Defence Weekly (the same weekly that people use and abuse often times to prove their point and bring articles from it as a proof and reference...) reports based on rumour... because? It involves Pakistan, because it mentions pakistan thus it is a rumour.

Next, IF the sale is made to Pakistan, these people will start saying that eurofighter is not a good fighter.... because? Pakistan has it.

Mods/Admins: Next time Ger_mark references "it's from Janes Defence Weekly" anywhere in his posts (to prove his point or story correct), PLEASE BAN HIM.

ROFL

Well they don't just post claims or on Pakistani and Chinese stuff
Some weeks ago when the Barracuda UCAV was sighted the guy who tooked the picture said that the engine sounds like Alpha-Jet and Janes simply said it has SNECMA/Turboméca Larzac 04-C20 engine. EADS doesn't even confirm the existance of the aircraft.
I'm not saying everything they write was wrong but it's just a news source.
