BRICS should absolutely do this. The fact that @getready can't possibly imagine the US planting "evidence" or rigging test results proves that even among the pro-China crowd, there are a lot of summer children that do not understand how the game is really played in politics and intelligence. If the Olympics are unwilling to defend China's rights, China needs to de-legitimize the Olympics and cultivate a new alternative. Complete and total Chinese sanctions against the Olympics and ALL of their suppliers/contractors is a starting point.
BRICS games is a no no. India will not agreed. Having the Asian games is already bad enough.

Just out of interest, do Chinese athletes do any training at high altitudes, say for instance, Tibet? With such high elevation, surely this must be ideal for endurance sports training?

Tibet would be too high for most people. China does have sport training facilities in Kunming at about 2000 meters above the sea level. These facilities are well known and are frequently used by the various Chinese teams. Not sure if there have been new ones at even higher elevations though.

ok, maybe China should consider it, the impossible becomes possible if the will is strong enough. I just saw the 10,000m final race and I saw 2 Chinese runners coming last a long long way behind the winner.

Middle school and high school swimmer here, was really nice, but after finals lost touch to the hometown and hadn't really time and energy to get into a new club in a new city.

Really disappointing results. So many missed golds. I'm wondering whether China will even get over 30 golds at this rate. Forget about beating US, just don't want to come third like 2016.

Last time swimming got 3 golds so it isn't making much difference. But look at stuff like gymnastics where they can't even get one gold.
