It weirds me to watch how the UK and Australia are becoming smaller Americas even on a cultural level.

Not weird at all-remember 5 EYES-all descended from Mother Britain and all English speaking very close cousins linguistically,culturally and ethnically.BTW SunYang coming back and winning is bad news for USA etc swim world I assume?Would be great if he joined Pan ZhanLe and his team- another arrow in China's quiver and Sun Yang is burning fror revenge/comeback may he/them stay strong/healthy for 2028 LA!!

Nothing new. Australian diving coaches were chinese divers that emigrated to Canada in the 90s. Now they are back in Canada again.
