I hear people on Chinese social media complain that the swimming team is being bullied by the west and ignored etc.
Like what's the point? We know what the west is like. I would almost argue it's a deliberate coordinated effort with america leading it.
The only real thing you can do is win gold like Pan. Then they will be forced to to smile in front of you. And if they don't, just mock them and core them a sore loser to rub it in. That's the only real language they understand. Winning.

I was going to mention that too. Japan, France and Australia are getting a lot of medals. I have never saw the medal table this competitive.

I hope you're right. I always thought a good way to beat the US would be to lower their medal count by building professional high tech training centers with fully subsidized training and nutrition on a merit-based system in poor countries like those in Africa, Jamaica, etc... Unleashing thier potential will devastate America's athletics performance but they need help because they countries aren't rich enough to do it themselves.
I'd never accept purchasing or hiring foreign athletes to win any medals for China but if a bunch of Blasian Chinese kids could be trained for the running events, I wonder what would happen. Asian genetics are fantastic for explosive power, which is why we are excellent at weightlifting and Su Bingtian can produce the fastest 60m dash time, but Jamaicans and mixed Africans (African Americans, etc...) can outlast him to the 100m mark. I wonder if a kid with Blasian genetics could have Su Bingtian's explosion in the first half then Usain Bolt/Yohan Blake's lasting power in the second half of the 100m. It could make history, the fastest combination on earth.
Anybody know if Su Bingtian likes chocolate? LOL Just wonderin' but I bet if Wu Yanni was offering herself 100m away from Usain Bolt, you'll see 9.58 fall that day LOLOL

The squat is the basis of lower body and core strength; it's hard to find any sport that won't greatly benefit from it. In weightlifting, that squat isn't even acceptable. We need calf to hamstring with torso leaning forward only ~10 degrees.What Olympic event requires that squat position?
