After all the cheating and abuse by anglo/western countries, and after all the excessive middle-of-the-night piss evaluation, Chinese athletes still proved themselves superior to white anglo athletes and their african american athletes. History wise, this is the equvivalent of Jesse Owens beating aryan olympic athletes to win gold and i expect pictures of Chinese athletes like the Chinese relay swimming team, to adorn history books in the future.

Additionally, i also expect the fruits of WADA's efforts to result in many, many more US gold medallists handing in their medals in disgrace.

The last time the US women's team didn't win gold was in Barcelona 1992 and they lost to the "Soviet" team (after the SU collapsed all of the ex-Soviet republics except the Baltic countries still competed as one team for that Olympics before splitting off into their own national teams) so it's incredibly unlikely. I think tying in Gold is the most likely result, but still a fantastic result for the China.

I can't believe China put up an even closer fight than Tokyo. USA now has to rely on Silvers to win.

Of coz I really did hope China would win this time. But at least breakthroughs were made in sports not seen before.

China really performed poorly in track and field though, just as before, only 1 gold in women's race walkingo_O, while US has 14 golds, and 34! medals in total
