Perhaps you would like to rethink the words you use to describe your fellow countryman.
By using a propaganda posed shot, now it's more than obvious you don't live here.
But I do.
AND I don't, won't, never and no need to rethink my words or stance, because they give me no reason to.
Typical, dug up the street for bricks as projectile...
Peaceful? Unarmed? Non-violent? Non-aggressive? Pfffff...Give me a break...
And let me tell you this: if the government issued a call for a civilian militia, with weapons issued (I don't mind if it's just a mosin nagant with just 5 rounds on a clip, all I need is bayonet) and full civil+criminal+legal indemnity status to its participants on operations to take back the streets, I can bet you for US$100 that folks in the thousands will sign up now, and so would I. We can only anger and vent our anger because we still have a life to lead and a keep to earn, thus not risking to ruin it all by breaking the law ourselves.
In the West, even a nation-wide general strike won't last indefinitely, and certainly won't last more than a week on end, 2 months and still going is just unthinkable, yet we average Joe have to grit our teeth amid such major disruption, maintain a semblance of order and keep the city functional. Yeah, did those insurgents ever think about anyone other than their own ranks?
"The people" they so claimed to fight for isn't an arbitrary concept, "the people" are flesh and blood with livelihood the insurgents so blatantly threatened, if not just disrupting. And thanks to their insistence to make it last as long as it'd take, we "the people" have no idea for how long we need to "tough it out", and what measures of recovery would be needed should and when this is over.
Yeah, they never think about us (like they claimed about the government), so why must I cut them any slack?
