Deepway now planning a 10B RMB 100k/year plant in Anhui province. This is one of the most advanced looking commercial vehicles I've seen. Everything from aerodynamic design, to L3/L4 driving to battery swap look good.
We're coming up close to December now, has there been any updates on CATL's 500wh/kg condensed batteries? The original news back in April was that it will enter mass production close to end of the year.

The BYD Seal acceleration is amazing. Beat all the tested cars except the 2 sportscars. Losing to the Nissan GTR only by a whisker and I thought the Seal almost caught up at the line despite the latter having a slower start. Lost to a very high CC Lamborghini Huracan only by a few meters.

Seal is pretty amazing. Barely pricier than normal cars, but performance of a pricy sports car. New version is adding improved self driving.
If the new drive train system mentioned by tphuang is coming for Seal a couple year later, Seal should out race GTR of the same year.

I don't know about the condensed battery. But GAC's 400 wh/kg solid-state battery will start mass-production in 2026 and SAIC's solid-state battery will be available in the first half of next year.
Charging piles for EVs now cover more than 94% of service areas for passenger vehicles on China's expressways. For those who are curious, China has the most expressways in the world, approx. 110,000 miles.
