  • Zoolnasm's sodium battery factory can also supply approx. 450,000 EVs.
you are conflating two things. There was nothing on the report on how many EVs can be produced from 30GWh. They just said micro cars.

The short range version of seagull use 30kWh battery. Based on that, you can get battery pack for 1 million EV

been reported for a few days now, but BYD J7 is unveiled in Japan

CALB's 6C 300Wh/kg battery will go into mass production next year

GAC group unveils cars in Mexico, Kazakhstan & Egypt last week. Note the mention of 20 ADAS functions in that first pic. Yeah, even 3rd rate chinese automakers are so far ahead of legacy when it comes to smart car functions

Leopard-3/8 won't be launched until 2nd half of next year

I don't know other foreign car brands. But I think made-in-China Tesla EVs have about 95% of local contents. Notice that virtually all the components made by foreign suppliers are actually made in China also.

The IDRA Gigapress is made in Italy, but IDRA is owned by LK Machinery of China. In China, the Gigapresses are locally supplied by LK
you mean the exports to EU? most of that is Tesla and MG.
Dacia Spring EV is made by Dongfeng for Renault, and is a bestseller as well

I remember long ago predicting US companies will have to have two manufacturing bases. One in the US for Americans and one in China for the rest of the world. That's what they're going to have to do if the want to survive. There was an article recently where it said US corporations are dependent on the international market more than ever and it's only growing. It will be so expensive to produce domestically for the American market that they'll need their overseas manufacturing base to subsidize domestic manufacturing with its overseas operations. Eventually you'll see American in name only companies where some make their business purely overseas bypassing the US.

No IP theft to worry about because it'll be all Chinese anyway. What does it say when after all is said an done, it's still more profitable for GM to move all their international business to China to manufacture avoiding laws and tariffs imposed by the US government? The US can always increase their taxes but then they might find American companies no longer being American.

GM is moving more to Mexico instead?
