As one of poorer provinces, Jiangxi is attempting to leverage its ample of lithium to become a major hub of manufacturing electric batteries and further expanding to manufacturing electric vehicles. Hopefully, Jiangxi would be able to take advantage of this opportunity to develop and become more competitive.

Just shift sales from Japanese brands to BYD. That would be enough to sell even more.
problem is that the sub 200k segment is not seeing year end high volume.
so, BYD has to lower prices to take market share from ICE cars, which it is doing by the way, fresh off the press
Remember, BYD gets a lot of store visits from people that are also looking at ICE cars.
Shoulda bought BYD! There's been loads of anti-EV stories in the Canadian media lately. The reason why is they're pandering to what people want to hear. If you go into the comments section there's just loads of people saying how bad EVs are. Totally different attitudes toward EVs in Canada vs China. China is embracing them rapidly whereas Canada is full of doubters and oil & gas workers who fear EVs.
