TikTok’s business model is advertising money, twerking American youth doesn’t generate any actual money, it’s the ad money American companies paid to get their ads in from of their target demographic that generates the revenue for TikTok.

A US ban would in effect become a world wide ban since most large international companies would be loathed to pay TikTok to advertise their goods and services would fall fowl of US long arm jurisdiction BS and their weaponisation of the USD and financial system.

This is why the ban will be a big deal, and will require proportional responses from the Chinese government to make sure this sort of thing doesn’t become routine.

In that case the smartest thing to do is proactively pull out of the US market rather than wait for a ban. Lose the users, keep the market. Rather than lose both.

Biden is just a face that can be replaced and doesn't wield any authority of his own. He is dispensable. Those who actually wield power behind the scenes wouldn't care much what happens to a face that is easily replaceable, especially one that is completely senile.

And that's the problem with Americans - they are fixated on the face and ignorant of the disease underneath. The actual authorities want TikTok banned. So if Biden manages to ban TikTok and end his career, don't expect Trump (or anyone else) to cease power and reverse the decision, considering Trump tried to ban TikTok himself in 2020.

Even with regards to Israel, Trump is not much different; he was the one who made the provocative decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem. Don't expect him to be any different. Americans are gullible and will fall for this deception; their mood changes when the leader changes but the system and decisions remain intact, just like the controversial Patriot Act among other things. All controversies end with a change in leadership instead of a change in system. The ultimate deception. It's a game of musical chairs.
