In my opinion if the ban goes through TikTok should just cease its US operations. They have the rest of the world and money. Let American investors and youth hold the "progressive" democrats accountable.

In a sense, Bytedance holds the fate of the election (and the US) in the palm of its hand. If they decide not to sell their US operations to an American company and TikTok gets banned, then Biden is finished. His support of Israel, as little as it impacts our daily lives, has already turned much of the youth against him. He will not survive a TikTok ban. If they decide to sell their US operations and TikTok doesn't get banned, then there may be hope for Biden.
It goes both ways. If Biden admin believe they have no chance of winning, then they no longer fear any unpopular decisions.
Tiktok should setup VPN everywhere and continue making money from Americans, that would be a change of tide.

Preferably setting VPNs in Europoe, SK and Japan so US must fight and block its allies.
