They must if they want to continue to push their content in western platforms like Youtube, Facebook. Where is the Chinese version of youtube or Facebook in other countries? Why is Youku or Bilibili not even trying to push their platform outside China? Why is Sina weibo not trying to compete with Twitter in places like the Arab world?
As long as the media landscape is dominated by western platforms they will control who can speak
I kinda lost hope on that when I heard that Alipay and WeChat Pay now accept Visa and Mastercard.
These Chinese websites should make international websites. If they want to host outside China, just do it in a non-Western aligned country.

Why any non white (or even whites tbh) should want to waste their time in America is beyond me, but were I to live there, I would have multiple guns in order to defend myself from the inhuman local inhabitants.
