The "international community" versus the rest of the world i.e. Global South, as usual.

The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution for "Towards a New International Economic Order (NIEO)" with 123 in favour, 50 against and 1 absention.

Full text of the resolution:

Laid on the map - As usual, the exact same voting patterns.

Excerpt from Wikipedia page of NIEO:
The New International Economic Order (NIEO) is a set of proposals advocated by developing countries to end economic colonialism and dependency through a new interdependent economy.

Clearly shows the true faces of those neo-colonialists and neo-imperialists who still want to maintain their grip on their empires for as long as possible. If they lose that grip, their days of living luxuriously and lavishly off the backs of the poor and starving would be over.

The West tried to convince China to bend the knee and become a satellite like Japan; China refused; now the West is trying to "rally" the Global South against China, despite China sharing more interests with them than the West. This dynamic has been going on since the founding of the PRC and continued through the normalization of relations. It's time for China to take on the same role it did during the Cold War - since we are now basically in Cold War 2.0 - the voice of the Global South.

Freedom of speech for anti-China traitors but not for pro-China ones. This is political persecution and bias, straight and simple. Wu Xiaolei is absolutely based.

Meanwhile rampant anti-asian discrimination, death threats and attacks caused by American propaganda is conveniently ignored by the American "justice" system.
OK nobody here loves Chinese patriots and looks down on hanjian more than me but this is definitely not a case of biased freedom of speech in the US (although there are many true examples). This patriot stalked a hanjian on campus, publically tried to locate his residence, and threatened to chop off his hands (according to the article). That's not going to fly no matter what you stand for.

Chinese patriots are in a dangerous environment in the West. We are not home; we cannot act like this is China. We are in the enemy's den and our best weapon and defense is concealment of our patriotism (although it does not ever mean to mimic a hanjian). We must study a STEM field legally, quitely and privately, and when we are ready, go home. That is the number one thing that the US fears; the US has absolutely no fear of Chinese people who go to the US and commit petty crimes in broad daylight for the love of the motherland. They want all Chinese patriots to out ourselves like that. We do not have protection or support from public opinion or the law. This patriot could not control his rage at seeing the hanjian so he was baited into doing something that was not only useless but also illegal. Don't be like him. Follow the law, study hard, lay low, go home.

Alan Estevez, a senior official who oversees export controls, captured the gung-ho mood in late October: “I meet with my staff once a week and say, ‘Okay, what’s next? What are we going to do next? Who’s being bad? Where is the technology area that we need to address?” He said that future controls on biotech, quantum technology, and AI software and algorithms are likely.

Regarding deletion of data, does anyone truly know if its a soft or hard delete? Its quite easy to actually implement a soft delete just to hide it from the user and still keep the data.
one can never be sure if google actually delete the data permanently, but I doubt that they will keep mine forever since I am nobody. The value of commoner's data to google is to track and observe behaviour for money generation and pushing ads. including the trash news.

Over a not long period of time, the data is useless without update. Whether the data is eventually deleted or not makes no difference.

Republican Senator Kevin McCarthy (House Minority Leader)

Basically goes back to the semiconductor. It’s about turning China into a cash cow for the US. That’s one core part of their foreign policy against China.
I wonder what is the average IQ of US senators. They taught a lesson to China by blocking chips, immediately they expect China to fall in the same trap? They think others are as stupid as themselves? Or their memory only last one second?
