If China falls for the "G2" fantasy trap laid by the US then it deserves all the disaster and ruin that will come as a result.

"The 47th Chinese naval escort task force set sail from Zhoushan City in east China's Zhejiang Province on December 15. It is heading for the Gulf of Aden and Somali waters to replace the 46th escort task force. The fleet comprises the guided-missile destroyer Baotou, the guided-missile frigate Honghe and the comprehensive supply ship Gaoyouhu from the Eastern Theater Command. The task force is also equipped with two onboard helicopters and includes over 700 personnel. The team will conduct targeted training exercises, including night-time helicopter landings, joint search and rescue operations, armed rescue of hijacked merchant vessels, counter-terrorism, anti-piracy drills and inspections of suspected vessels."

"Trump meets with TikTok CEO at Mar-a-Lago as company asks Supreme Court to intervene in fight over federal ban"
Well, Trump is now the President, and he no longer needs the support of Tiktok. It's time to 'sell' it to Musk.

At that time, I thought it was an attractive proposal, but the Americans had no intention of giving up their interests. If they refuse to compromise on the Taiwan Strait issue, why should we cooperate with the Americans?
Americans are too stingy, and they tear up the agreement very casually. An informal oral agreement is not safe.
This non binding suggestion is American style, asking others to provide 'help' but not giving anything.
Is he trying to woo Xi to his 2nd inauguration? Xi already rejected him once.
He is unlikely to go.
It should be understood that it was Trump who took the initiative to tear up the agreement. He saw concessions as an opportunity for further extortion and proposed a list similar to surrender conditions.
If only the Americans are allowed to unilaterally "judge" China, it is not a "transaction".

Trump takes pride in his' art of deal ', but these clumsy techniques would be extremely bad for negotiations between nations, we have reason to believe that Trump will prepare a "special" welcome ceremony for him to humiliate him.
Alternatively, Trump may arrogantly see this as proof of submission to the United States.
