Based on the precedent of the J-10CE, it is highly likely that there will be no FC-31 or J-31, but rather the J-35AESmall update to the chart: View attachment 138377

Congrats to SAC and an interesting side by side with F-35A, though the angles are off. I must say I enjoy the sleek look of the J-35A better. Very eager to learn and see more of the weapons bay, here's to hoping we get some open bay shots during the debut!
Usual small rant: I understand that they aren't exciting compared to missiles and radars, but come on people, wings aren't "slight differences", wings are the plane, and they're basic and major trials hurdle. Everything else is payload wings carry.Small update to the chart:
I mean, the models displayed on AVIC-attended airshows show either FC-31 or J-31. Until further confirmation, I'll stick with that.Based on the precedent of the J-10CE, it is highly likely that there will be no FC-31 or J-31, but rather the J-35AE
Depends, in reality LRIP may well have been started for some time and for all we know there may be a few units doing field tests with the initial batch right now.So how do we define the status of the 35A currently? It doesn't count as LRIP right? So technically still in the prototyping stage or what?
Some people think J35 is a symbol of the backward, corrupt, inefficient and collusive remnants of the Soviet system within the Chinese aviation industry. And J20 is an advanced, efficient and creative representative of the achievements of Westernization.Don't know why some people are questioning why the PLAAF is getting it too. Isn't it a good thing? The more the merrier.
