And I am not amused that the American military empire, which is the deadliest and most fanatical empire the face of the earth has ever known.... ... to set in motion the "Taiwanese Gambit" because we could be heading for the summer of 1914.

Maybe those of you who live inside the Truman Show can take it a little easier.

Chinese who are not loyal to the Five Star Red Flag and Chinese Communist Party are not real Chinese.

Zhonghua Minzu 中华民族 consists of:
  • 56 ethnicities on the mainland
  • Taiwanese patriots
  • Hong Kong patriots
  • Macanese patriots
  • All patriotic descendants of Yan and Huang around the world
Notice the key use of the word 'patriot'.
I’m sure tons of people consider themselves Chinese without swearing loyalty to the party. CCP has been around for 100 years. While China and Han Chinese have been around for 2000 years.

Pelosi get to stay overnight but the status quo change forever.

Such exercise near taiwan coast and blockage will be frequent occurrence. China could simply closed the sea and airspace as and when needed.

It wont be farfetched to think airspace will be closed last minute to prevent flight carrying some European politicians from visiting the island

To think i might be too rush to dismiss millitary drill as a charade earlier.

The lesson in all of this is China is hopelessly incompetent in PR. The wolf diplomacy might be a good sell to internal audience but it just sounds so over the top and childish that no one takes them seriously. I find it laughable and over the last 24 hours, they made a joke of themselves, not only with the world, but with their own population.

Furthermore, China has done nothing to enhance it's soft power through media and cultural export. Look at South Korea, Qatar, Russia, Iran. Hell, Pakistan's single Twitter account did better PR on Feb 27th against India which is several times bigger than it in all aspects and controlled the entire narrative.

This is the lesson they need to learn. This is the hill they decided to fight on for really no serious reason. Even if they fight on this Hill over the coming days, they still need to sort out their PR

This is their biggest weakness. Massive country but little to no soft-power. I recall an English guy working for Chinese state television critiquing Chinese PR, or a lack thereof. He either got fired or had to leave.

Even with external professionals trying to help them they don't manage to improve their PR. This is a point where I think we won't be seeing any improvement for a very long time safe for a massive societal-cultural change.

Well to be fair, it’s not like having the best PR in the world is helping the USA and it’s collapsing economy very much. PR is only useful until it simply isn’t. I mean look at the EU right now, it sure isn’t helping its energy security either. Only good diplomacy and a rational leader can help handle those things, both of which neither the US and the EU are capable of. So what if China has shit PR, at least they will still have a growing economy and have their energy secure and you can’t go wrong with that

Yes, there's a word for it. Hanjian.
Political parties come and go. Dynasties come and go.

CCPs only job is to fulfill the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and its people, not the Party. That’s their mandate And the bargain with Chinese people.

You’ll have a lot less Hanjians if you have people swear loyalty to that.

The west is labeling massive Chinese infrastructure investments in other countries as 'debt traps' with no effective pushback from China. If Chinese PR can't handle a low-hanging fruit like this then I fear the worst. And we've all seen the worst in the last several days.
