Share if you want but leave out the disinformation like possible tanks.

Some of the content can be seen in the video. You have to believe that the government is efficient in information control.
There is no doubt that the local government chose the worst way to deal with it.The cruel reality behind "order" and "stability" is beyond our imagination. In the future when the economy continues to deteriorate, such things may still happen.

This is like a Sunday picnic when compared to what is happening in the US. If this is so cruel then America would not exist anymore. Also the Chinese economy isn’t deteriorating(this particular situation is a criminal case), unlike the US(which may enter recession this year). So it is indeed beyond your imagination because there won’t be any tanks.

The problem with this matter is that we think we can quell the crisis by seriously investigating and dealing with cases, but using "non-governmental personnel" to solve the problem is completely abnormal.

You have to understand that China has a large population. If something goes wrong, there will be more victims than the United States. And because the government has great power, they must assume greater responsibility

Of course, I admit that this cannot be compared with the Lehman Brothers incident, but local governments cannot use such illegal means.
And even if there is no news media to report it publicly, the news will still spread all over the world.
The poor public relations ability of the Chinese government is obvious to all. Bureaucrats will only be responsible to their superiors. In order to look beautiful examination results, they will choose to hide the facts and prevent appeals.

This is the result of the failure of the “usual” control measures of local governments, bureaucrats did not dare to use the police, but inadvertently went on a more wrong path: using illegal personnel and illegal means.
It's good for everyone to deal with it early, but because of complex interests and financial difficulties, the bureaucratic group chose to delay and suppress it.

Maybe we will see the announcement of the central government in the future, but the content should be very vague.Such scandals often choose not to be dealt with publicly, but it also gives bureaucrats the confidence to dare to use illegal means.

They could be government personal just not police with uniforms.
Actually these protesters have no business blocking Bank of China which isn't involved in the case.

Why are you overly pessimistic with China's political, military, economics, and social situations. Is your opinion and pessimism guided by your belief that the current system isn't tenable anymore? And perhaps China must adopt the democratic system of the west to placate your concerns ergo the concerns of Chinese citizens who share your beliefs or perhaps you don't think that the government has been responsible enough, nor responsive enough to the actual needs of the citizens like yourself and others who share your dark pessimistic tone about the country. Tanks? What are you on dude.

In what capacity is your opinion going to bring forth the requisite improvements and or changes you seem to seek for the governance in China. In some of your posts you sound like you really want the country to operate like India because that's the only country who's comparable enough to China in terms of population size and that's still consider as a developing country like China as a highly dysfunctional or semi functional country. You can't in good logic or conscience compare or yearn the comparison to any western European or American countries because none applies.

I want to give you a fair hearing since I assume you mean well and is well intentioned to see the country prosper well and do not like to see the country go back to the way it was when it's shit poor and almost helpless against many enemies. But beware of good intentions because as the saying goes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Also, when the burning of trains by mostly young Indian men in more than one provinces in India or the farmers protest that paralyzed the capital city of India, New Delhi no one ever seem to suggest that Indias democracy is or was about to collapse let's not even mention the carcasses that were being burned in India from the scourge brought about by that country's excellent handling of covid-19. I mean, if people like you gets to assume the fragility of the government in China even after all the ecomic advances among others it brought to the country seems insufficient enough then maybe the government should just let the current system collapse and have people like you run the country. Ungrateful folks driven by their own selfish individual desires when the situation they are currently going through was their deleterious desire to make obscene profit promised by a charlatan. No one forced those folks to invest their money and investments always carry inherent risks to then act like a bunch of retarded hooligans creating public disturbance bringing shame to themselves, the city, province, and the country is for me highly repulsive.

We all know who these people who don't wear uniforms are, but not wearing uniforms means that they don't appear as government personnel. You can see that the police are standing there doing nothing, letting these people who don't wear uniforms do "dirty work".

As a family who was also victimized, it was hard for me to contain my anger.I've seen too many things without results.

As a relatively weak side, what China can rely on is the support of its own people. But some people don't seem to care who is supporting them. The "Second Republic" is undoubtedly divorced from the original mass base, but they dare not rely on the ambitious bourgeoisie,so they hung in the air and no longer trusted anyone.

It is meaningless to compare who is worse. What the people hope for is progress and the return of the "revolutionary tradition".Today, the people still have to face the situation that Mao Zedong was worried about: "A huge civil service organization with hundreds of thousands of people has a high probability of problems."

Since the government has great management power, don't try to shirk responsibility when problems arise.China does not have a strong social Darwinian environment, the people have high requirements for political clarity and efficiency, and have a strong sense of vigilance against bureaucratic groups.Although many corruption cases have been exposed, people can still realize that the means of bureaucratic groups' black box operation have not been solved, and many people become civil servants only for the purpose of "making a profit".

The era of the "first Republic" was not beautiful, but at least there were some severely tested revolutionaries, but in the era of peace, there are only mediocre people left. These selfish bureaucrats can't understand the meaning of "people's power",the arrogant and obviously patriarchal title "parent official"(父母官) has become the norm.

Mao is a great leader that cannot be copied. No one is qualified to become his successor now.How to prevent the corruption of the vanguard is still a problem worth pondering.
CPC had to be reformed into a more efficient organization, and some ridiculed their thinking as still being stuck in the era of the influence of pamphlet communications, lacking the most basic knowledge of the psychology of the masses under the influence of modern media tools

The premature adoption of loose policies for finance has led to today's situation,we used to laugh at the subprime mortgage crisis in the United States, but we still chose to eat this "poison" in the end. This year is doomed to be a bad year. Once in trouble, it is difficult to imagine whether there will be more such events in the future.

At present, the external situation is difficult to improve in the short term, and China is bound to face a slow and painful stage of internal adjustment.

Could be police in plain cloth, bank security or other government personal. It’s not really “dirty work” if the protesters violated the law. Maybe if your family made wiser financial decisions you wouldn’t be in this situation today. Stop blaming others and work on yourself.

Very insightful. although I don’t think this year will be a bad year for China, I do feel it will be a bad year for us in the west tbh.

Given your understanding of the mechanizations of Chinese bureaucracy, what do you think should have been the right solution For China to make local buracrats accountable? Democracy?
