Um... cl-20 wasn't invented by the Americans. It was invented by the Chinese and first used by the Americans. No more than gunpowder was invented by the British despite using it on a larger scale in the past.

With cl-20 the Americans don't even use it on the scale of Russia... Apparently. But nevertheless this is a thoroughly Chinese "invention" BUT inventions are useless if you can't make and use them. Luckily china could and has made cl-20 and used it for some time. Just not in rocket propellant until recently.

The Sarmat has more modern engines and likely more lightweight airframe. It can ascend a lot more quickly than the R-36M. The improved performance of the engines with regards to fuel consumption also increases its range and allows it to attack via the South Pole.
No, it doesn't. There was a FOBS version of the R-36 even before the M variant, and the Sarmat weighs a bit heavier than the R-36M.

155mm L15A1 was just an example because i am familiar in carrying it around.

CL-20 shouldnt be mainly for Dumb shells, but smart HE shells or Smart munitions in general, imagine +58% more explosive effectiveness.

Since smart munitions are expensive anyway, one should better make sure that when they connect, nothing leaves the area alive.

Also good for nuclear fission, since the Initial explosive can be of smaller volume = smaller nuclear device, less weight, more range for carrier missile.

In the end its China, what cost today 20€ per kg, will cost 2€/kg in 2023.

Is it the cost now 20€ per kg ? quite cheap

A TEL for a much bigger hypersonic glider? Despite claims that the 4th academy only develops short to medium range ballistic missiles, the TEL being tested clearly has a triangular space reserved for hypersonic glider similar to the TEL for the DF-17. You can also see a DF-17 TEL being tested right next to it.

Now this exercise here in PLA jargon would be called "宁可让人等装备,也决不能让装备等人" or "better let people wait for equipment, never let equipment wait for people". It conjures up bittersweet moments for PLA watchers where in the early days of PLA modernization the new high tech gear where still on the horizon and advocates call for PLA soldiers to be ready to drop their old people's war ways and adept new high tech war thinking. As logical as that sounds it inevitably gives you a sense of
