By the way a request ... can anyone re-post that patent page showing the landing gear just posted recently?

Deep Dive Defense made a nice vid of the J-36. Well worth the watch:

And yes, its quality is at (least at) the level required for this forum!

He claims:

- J-36 might use a turbojet in afterburner for highspeed cruising while the other two turbofans run without afterburner
- J-36 will use it high speed and high altitude to target enemies at standoff ranges using its 270 degree radar coverage for fire and manoeuvre (F-pole).

I just want to share the headline. You gotta love these headline writers.

China unveils menacing new ‘UFO-shaped’ stealth fighter jet with no tail on tyrant Mao’s birthday

I don't claim I can identify the British media's headlines without looking at the name of the publication for no reason. Bombastic + subtle virtue signalling = British media

Forget it; Paralay is a nice guy, but totally obsessed by Russia's superiority and so he miscalculated almost everything! The most funny detail, according to him, it uses three RD-33! ;)
Lol is it time to draw the PAK DP with 4 WS-9?

Actually the interesting detail about that drawing I wanted to comment is that it made the same questionable assumption most people made before we had higher quality images of it top: the air intake in the drawing is much larger than in reality.

I'm becoming more sure now that it it's not an engine intake, the 2 below the aircraft should suffice to power the three engines.

Interesting. That claim means that due to the poorer low speed efficiency of turbojets, it is useless weight in the low, mid subsonic regime.

Close to high-resolution version of a previously shared image with some enhancements.
