First of all, that's not my question. My question was how Japan feels seeing the US fall from a country that boasts its unequivocal power and ability to protect its allies from their enemies to one that says it needs others to protect it from China.

Secondly, I don't think the Japanese feel the way you think at all. Japanese are characterized by insecure feelings, which is expected from a country that was defeated and militarily occupied. They may feel that the Chinese are rude and sometimes dirty, but they are under no illusion that the Chinese are inferior in any meaningful area such as intellect or innovative capacity. Before China's boom, they may have felt that way but Japanese are not a stupid people and they see the modern events happening today. They know that no country that can put the US on its back feet and into a panic can be an inferior people to anyone. Fear is their main emotion when dealing with China and one cannot fear something without respecting it.

I do not believe in any permanent bonds in international relations. Japan and Australia may side with the US when they perceive it to be the winning side but when China is in a place where the US cannot win, they will move over to China's side for the sake of survival. For Japan, it will be especially easy to get its population to hate the people that dropped 2 nuclear weapons on it an militarily occupied it for decades.

You should read more Japanese media and listen to actual Japanese people's interview about China. There are many out there on Youtube. For Japanese people, Chinese are unclean, dirty, unorganized and foolish. They are also completely mindless drones controlled by the CCP. Interestingly in the US, african-american people have the same stereotype in the eyes of the white majority.

Who else thinks that away about the Chinese? Taiwanese, South Koreans and Hong Kongers. You see a pattern here? Every country or region that were controlled by the west and who gained their wealth by being subordinate to the west consider Chinese to be inferior as people.

When people have such racist thinking about another people. They will do anything to prevent the so called inferior people to be in a position of dominance over them. Even if it is suicidal. I believe Japanese and Australians will be equally fanatical to fight China. Even if US is out of the picture they will become absolute fortresses like North Korea just to prevent China from having any kind of dominance over them.

I honestly don't. I know Japanese in real life. They're outperformed by their Chinese peers at work. They see their Chinese classmates take top spots in all STEM classes. When we interact, there is nothing they are better than us at. When I was in University, I used to go to the Shotokan/Kyokushin practices just to beat them (with control, not maliciously) with my Sanshou while following all Karate Kumite rules. I mean there is literally nothing they are better than us at. But we chat, eat together, drink together and I feel no arrogance in them at all. They turn on the news and see that China's economy grew by 5% while thiers shrank and America's went up 1.4%. They see that China has invented this and that and America attempts more sanctions after the last round failed. If they can see these things and believe the Chinese to be inferior then they are truly, for a lack of a better word, mentally retarded. The Japanese whom I've met, are not. They're not as accomplished as Chinese people on average, but they are far from mental retardation.

I've never seen or heard of this in any modern Japanese person. How low must someone's IQ be to think this dispite China being superior to Japan in every way nationally? Even on a person to person level, Chinese people in the US typically outperform their Japanese counterparts both in school and at work. They simply don't have anything that would even allow them to imagine being superior to Chinese people.

Let's not mix things up. There's no need to explain to me how the West or West-worshipping Chinese put America on a pedistal and downplay all of China's achievments. I am familiar with all of them.

I am not familiar, however, with Japanese forums though I have met Japanese people in real life. From what I've seen, they are a people without pride, characterized by resignation, content to just live their lives and want to achieve nothing more. They have the most mellow personalities and least offensive demeanor. Because of this, they typically lack the drive to be truly excellent, though they are usually much better off than average in the US simply because they can follow rules and are backed by that East Asian intellect.

Now you're telling me they are arrogant, hateful, aggressive and incredibly stupid... all because the internet led you to believe so. They'd rather die a sidekick of the master who brutalized them than live a normal prosperous life, not even under China but as a truly independent Asian nation. The reason I am explaining all of this to you is this. Wake up!! China's rise may be inevitable. But don't assume that it will be easy and people will not fight it. No. Japanese, Taiwanese, Americans, Austrialians will fight tooth and nail to prevent China's rise. Some will become absolute suicidals maniacs to stop China's rise. Even if they can't fight it with an army, they will fight it with terrorism and suicide bombing if needed.

I am not too concerned about the extreme anti-China Chinese. Their 'influence' now is only possible because they align with the US's current objectives. Once their use fades, or they become more nuisance than use, they will be discarded with disdain just as Zelensky will be. Falun Gong / Epoch Times is a good example.

These people have, do, and will exist at any time in history, and can only cause effects greater than general nuisance when propped up, supported and/or armed by an external enemy. In the absence of such an enemy, the vast majority won't have any power to do much damage, while those that could are either monitored, neutralized or exiled.

There may be millions, or tens of millions, but as a percentage of the overall Chinese population they are a minuscule defect rate.
