In a way these helos just look too good almost staged gleaming new break no sweat but have a look at the AH-1 Pakistan Army is using, recent opps on the Northern regions have taken a toll and there has been crashes

A new helo is needed but I believe the T-129 deal is pretty much a done deal now

The Z-19 doesn't come with a gun. That's the first thing they need to change for an upgraded variant. Perhabs then the helicopter will become more attractive for others and more useful for the PLA.

Z-19 is unlikely to gain a gun in the future. It has a clearly defined role as an armed scout. Having a gun requires it to tussle within gun range, for which it's not armored to handle. Its Z-9 derived engines and gearbox likely can't take too much additional weight regardless.

Z-19 will scout (with its mast mounted radar) and pass targeting information onto the bigger WZ-10. Z-19 will, however, make opportunistic attacks by lobbing missiles from a safe distance.

closest it would ever get is gun pods. Take a look at every attack helicopter on the planet. Only the OH1 ninja and Z19 have festron tails and both lack guns. That's not a coincidence. The tail makes the bird's weight and balance different from say a tiger. The addition of a gun turret would make it harder to draw power shift the center of gravity and make it very front heavy.
on top of which had for both the PLA and Japan who operate the only two choppers with this configuration, why? The PLA has Z10. JSDF has Cobras and Apache longbows. These are not intended for the mission set of a cobra or apache, these are scouts.

Does Pakistan get technology transfer and co-production/export rights from Turkey?

lets get a report on that that's verified first, but I doubt they could as the T129 is a licensed A129 variant, so they would have to negotiate licensing and production agreements with both the Turks and with Westland Augusta. The Pakistanis might be able to buy units from the Turks but building there own seems out.

Actually Turkey has full intellectual property rights for T-129A prodiction and there is no restriction on exports from Turkey to a 3rd party

Many big players have serious orders lined up for T-129 including Saudi Arabia, it's a great move by Turkey to develop a attack helo it will pay them back in leaps and bounds

T-129B will have indigenous missions computers and Turkish built weapons systems UAE has already ordered $200 million worth of Rokestsan missiles for thier armed forces

T-129 is actually a really good platform, it's a shame Pakistan did not persue rotary wing aircraft infrastructure like they did for fixed wing years ago

Perhaps Z-19 received mast head sensor first array to enable it to act as a sort of forward observer/target designator for the Z-10?

Some sources suggests z-10 as yet lack a fully adequate power plant. This suggests its capacity for maneuver while heavily loaded would be less than the designers intended, and it's capacity to carry more equipment would also not yet be fully available.

One way to offset this might be to offload some sensor/target designator equipment onto a separate lighter, highly maneuverable helicopter to approach the enemy, and use remote datalink to control missiles carried and fired z-10 slightly behind the front line.

so z-19 is not the Chinese AH-1, rather the Chinese OH-58. if they can developing something like Brimstone, MMW guided missile with lock on after launch capability, Z-19 can pass the targeting data to Z-10, and Z-10 can fire behind cover.
and Z-10 may get new engines soon, 1500kw WZ16.
