Yeah, why does the army know how to paint their birds while the air force doesn't? It's like the air force waters down the paint.

Because the Army wants their bird to match the terrain and at night time when flying at low level, meanwhile the Air Force wants to match their birds to the sky and clouds.

I think is just because darker colours are just naturally more aesthetically pleasing, and the army has the luck of the draw in that their camo colour is naturally a much darker tone than what the Air Force typically aims for.

The Air Force colour scenes are also not that bad on the whole, I think as soon as they do away with those silly black radomes and adopts a more uniform grey all over, their birds will look far better.

Just by the looks Z-19 reminds me of the Japanese OH-1.

I said the Same thing months ago. the Concept between the two is the same. a light strike forward operating scout. but using the same heart ( engines, Rotors, Tail) as the Z9 series. but I have never seen a OH1 with a mini gun mounted under the hull? and the stub wings look to big. I think your photo is a PS.
I went to military today and pulled this off of them.

when you compare the pics I think it becomes clear that this is the basis for the PS, Some one took the stub wings from a cobra or Apache and Pasted them along with a minigun.

So the Z-19 doesn't have a minigun or cannon of any sort? that's a tad dissapointing.
