I guess our definitions of “toughness” are different. When I mention “toughness” in this context (tactical performance), I mean the ability to cleverly outmaneuver the enemy. Yours is about the individual willingness to fight. In that case, as of now, I haven’t seen thousands of Ukrainians surrendering in a single attack by the Russians like ISIS fighters did:ISIS are suicidal. Ukrainians are not. Mariupol is not Raqqa. And Kharkov is not Fallujah.
Or while defending a stronghold like the ones in Ukrainian cities:
That situation didn’t even happen in Mariupol. So, by both of our definitions, I’d say the Ukrainians are tougher to beat.
