I'm not informed enough about this matter to comment on it, but I can't imagine that this issue extends to their major military assets, i.e. warships and major naval subsystems.

No. It just seems to affect smart bombs for some reason. Guessing the bottleneck must be somewhere in the production of miniaturized guidance systems for bombs.

But that's just me speculating

Well it was Qing dynasty that gave them away, and now we (PRC) are the heir in that lineage. So when you curse the Taiwanese for selling out their ancestor, look at yourself in the mirror too. We didn't fight for them to save our own ass. At least we should have the decency to use some more thoughtful words.
Lol do you man, and let us other Chinese folks who don't quite share your holier than thou attitude be. We have a divergent view if opinion and I do hurtily respect yours and your wish to rise above the fray is admirable which I do hope succeeds.

US policy can be boiled down to two things: 1. Leave us and ours alone and we leave you alone. 2. If we have to fight you, better to do it in your backyard than ours. Don't know why this is so difficult to understand.
Is Taiwan yours? Is China yours? Is the South China Sea in the gulf of Mexico? What's up wannabe Patton Jr. Did I understand your nonsense correctly?

That seems to be backfiring. Then again, they could pull a Turkey on Ukraine when its all said and done.

I think its becoming obvious that this is becoming the final struggle for the fate of Ukraine. Its either Russia destroys the Ukrainian state and nationalist thinking. Or they back down and Ukraine joins EU and Nato. There is no negotiated solution. There is no compromise solution.

Now the question is: Is russia capable enough to destroy Ukraine as a state and taking over without harming itself too much. The Western empire will certainly throw everything except direct war to try to degrade Russia and force a regime change. So, if Russia give up, I don't think they can survive as a state as they are now. Their power, prestige and even national territory is probably at stake right now.

As for China, I don't think they can enjoy from the sidelines much longer. The western empire's next goal will not be lets focus less on China to take down Russia first, but let devote more resources to take down both at once. So, they will put more resources on the line. So, more military budget, more sanctions on China, more support for Taiwan, more military moves in the pacific, more financial support in Africa.

So, the western empire will use greater percentage of its GDP to fight against China and Russia.

They will only stop when the western empire encounters an economic crisis and recession. Only then there will be some pause and perhaps reflection. Until then, its going to be full on proxy, economic, social battle

I AM moralizing all along. What do you think I have been doing all this time? It's for moral reasons I support the CCP and PRC because it has been doing a great job protecting China and Chinese people's interests. I am here to fight the good fight because the west's racist foreign policy is morally wrong, liberal hegemony is morally wrong. What are you fighting for?
Go on r/China, r/HongKong, r/politics and practice what you preach and see how far your moralizing takes you. Better yet, how about you discuss your support for the CPC publicly with your western folks and see how that process works out for you. If you succeed, I'll sign up to take your class or something.
