What "toys" did Ukraine steal from Russia to justify invasion?

"Growing up together as siblings"...Soviet Union colonized Ukraine, doesn't seem like family relations to me. More like Dominatrix relations.

The irony is that Russia's invasion of Ukraine actually validates Ukraine's security concerns and desire to join NATO for protection.
In the Soviet Union, Russia and Ukraine were legal equals. They had far less freedom in the Russian Empire.

Why would they need bombers when they have multiple MRLS parked outside Kiev?

I've not seen any footage of Ukrainian tanks in or around Kiev. All I've seen are the STRELA 10s which were there for air defence.

In fact, I've seen very little barricades or defensive structures, not even sandbags. Civilian cars are driving around roads in Kiev. When are the Ukrainians planning on setting them up? No wonder they're shooting at each other, the defence seems to be very disorganised. I've seen videos of Ukrainians making Molotovs, but there is a reason insurgents used IEDs in Iraq and Afghanistan. Anyone holding a Molotov will be filled with lead long before they get close to any convoy.

Ukrainian soldiers seem to be mostly without body armour, with most not even wearing helmets.

People talking about how taking Kiev is going to be a bloody battle like Grozny. I doubt Ukrainian civilians are suddenly going to start strapping suicide belts on and going out fedayeen style. It's one thing to pose with a gun and talk about dying for your country and another actually doing it.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

A Russian battalion is 800 soldiers. This is less believable than the ghost of Kiev story.
The bigger issue is what are they going to do with all the "tank men"? The unarmed random civilian that decides to take a stand. They're going to have that all over the place (and broastcast all over the media/social media). The optics are going to be horrible if they do shoot them or run over them. Their columns are going to be paralyzed at every turn, sitting ducks for the javelins that are going to be flooding the country.

Only that it’s the US that started this whole ball rolling with the Maidan coup for this fate was inevitable. The irony is that in the longer term, the usefulness of NATO is going to be fully tested and we will see just how power NATO really is against a nation that can truly fight back instead of bombing all those middle eastern countries that did nothing to them. May NATO fall on its own weight

I read through page 365 and gave up....I am completely exhausted lol, you are not missing anything. Most of it was not very informative.

China doesn't have to fear anything from these capitalists. So long as China is economically powerful, it's not possible for West to gang-up on China and risk losing a major import/export market (just like Europe cannot afford losing Russia's energy imports). In America, anyone can speak up and share their opinions, but not every opinion matters. Most of the neocon warhawks sharing anti-China views are likely paid by military-industrial complex to whip up 'enemy fervor' to justify large defense budgets post-Cold War, and doesn't necessarily represent the view of Wall Street, Big Corporations, and Billionaire class who all are invested heavily in China or Greater China markets.
Wishful thinking at best, if what happened to Russia proven anything, then it is certainly proven nothing is off the table when the West decided to gang up against you.

Both Republicans and Democrats want China dead. If that isn't scary enough, then what worst can it gets for China. Big corporations and Wall St tried to convince Biden not to impose SWIFT on Russia, did Biden listen. These billionaires don't speak in one voice and have different interests. They can't be relied upon when push comes to shove.

IMO, Russia will take Ukraine east of Dnipro river. Dnipro river cuts Kiev into two halves, a western half and a eastern half. Putin will likely install former Ukraine president Yanukovich as president of Russia backed East Ukraine which is east of Dnipro river.
