I disagree with the conclusion. Any temporary field camps in the attempted cutoff south of Mykolaiv is going to be subject to risk of an uncontested landing from Russian Marines hitting their rear like Incheon and supplies taken out by Russian Navy Kalibrs. Ukraine losing their navy is a huge blow. It leaves any offensive near the coast at risk of cutoff by a landing.

What's the evidence that Russians are "utterly unable to maintain their supply lines"? Look how close Sumy is to Russia, it's practically a border town. How's Ukraine's supply lines doing? Their rail network is down, they've had bridges taken out, and every day their storage warehouses are being hit by thermobaric missiles. Oh, and I almost forgot, they don't have an air force anymore and Russia does.

All of the western supplies they're receiving is stuck near the border in the west, and Ukraine is a big country. Last I saw they were forced to move it in cars. What isn't finding its way onto the black market or straight into Russian hands isn't enough to supply the 200,000 soldiers they have.

That twitter is full of cope and propaganda. Disregard this. Even reading the commentary is needless, since they are just different variations of "Ukraine is doing everything right and are brilliant, Russia is doing everything wrong and are only targeting civilians" - this has been going on since that guy started.

Here, we see some maps made by the Official Account of the French Ministry of Defense:

Oh no no no no ukebros? I thought we are in Moscow already?

Yeah so that point is made up of 6000+ m high mountains for 100+ km across. It is no joke.
Not that exact spot, man, C’mon!!! We’ve all got Google maps (terrain feature)! But installations in each country centered on that area. And, what, it’s beyond China’s and Russia‘s capacities to build a mega-tunnel complex? It would be fun!

Unless, of course, PLARF already has some of its ICBMs hiding in tunnels, there? ;)

Every commercial venture has to consider the return of investment factor. Mongolian economy is irrelevant since 50% of its population lives in the capital city. Kazakhstan and China have already built up a major crossing for trading. No need to build another one

Yeah, and Vegas was an empty spot in the desert, ‘til somebody saw ”possibilities“!
What’s up with all those empty cities China has built?

A question
What Ukraine did right when Saddam's Iraq were wrong?
Or in a simplify manner
What made the Ukrainians put a fierce resistance for the past weeks with inflicting casualties to the enemy side Whereas Iraq under Saddam (both at gulf war and Iraq war 2003) did virtually put none resistance? I mean, Saddam's Iraq theoritically speaking should have been able to inflicted heavy casualties to the Coalition forces.
