I think it is fair to say that Russia has high-end stuff but it is lacking on actually producing them in numbers.Russia has Zala suicide drones which are similar but maybe not as numerous.
This paper doesn't exist in Chinese, only RFA and other "like-minded" organizations are reporting on it.
Most will not see a drone to shot it with a stinger... most of them don't do enough sound to be heard near diesel engines... Maybe dedicated troops with manpad could have a try but drones like Russian zala are pretty small... i think they go mostly unnoticed.Cheap drones would a very good way to soak up any stinger fire.
Speaking of which, what kind of weapon system China can supply and Russia can use right away, in about a month time? This news makes it sounds like a weapon system is something you buy from Amazon.com and ready to use the moment you unbox it. I call it fake news. It's not more confirmation. It's just a claim. An actual confirmation of this claim would most likely be in the form of a Chinese or Russian official "leaking" this information out. War is the last place where the truth occurs, and the sheer amount of copium and hopium on both sides, especially the US/NATO/Ukrainian side, is just nuts. Until then, we should hold our horses and stop treating every piece of news as if it will definitely happen.
As for the drones, if I remember correctly, the Azerbaijani military's drones were mainly operated by Turkish personal. Assuming this claim is true, Chinese personal would have to operate them unless the Russian military have been secretly training people to operate Chinese drones.

Then will be a bigger problem than Ukraine, FAR bigger. If China were to start supplying Russia with arms, how would the USA respond? I would expect by supplying Taiwan with whatever weapons it desired as a start, perhaps with extending security guarantees and even stationing US troops there. Maybe even full recognition.
