Re: Type 95 assault rifle

Thanks for the info. I just saw the youtibe video again and your right. Wow only five shots. Don't know how airsoft models work but do they have all the mechanics working. I just looked at the footage again and everything seemed be opearting... cartridges ejecting and all in full auto.

hmmm...so the tv directors things type-95 is alienish looking...

I don't know if you watch the show but this was an odd one taking place not in their normal environment.

Yeap, 5 shots as demanded by the Liberals... that could suck if I move North....

But are the 97s in Canada full size or carbines?

It's stargate Atlantis Season 5 Episode 19, in case you have not seen it.

They could use a pistol magazine instead, that should give them 10 shots.

well Since I can't seem too find any thing on the QBu8 I can't comment on it. although Reloading too the side is about as popular as top loading, Out moted and forgoten save fore a few odd ball guns.
Incidentally the Kriss is the operating system of a SMG ( the TDI VECTOR) not a Rifle, currently I have heard nothing of making a Rifle utilizing the KRISS SUPER V system although that is not too say that such a system is not possible,
sorry bit slow on the reply. you said an ideal rifle for chinese would be a side reloading handle, removable handle, top rail, flip sights, etc... so from what you described is a rifle version of the QBU-88 sniper rifle. i dont see anything with the rifle, except the lack of combustion containment.

Re: Type 95 assault rifle

I see what you mean And now I understand. the original version got a bit garbled because I saw QBu8 not QBU88 and Side Reloading ( meaning too me loading the magazine in the left or right side of the receiver as opposed too the top or Bottom of it, not Side reloading handle (or Charging handle)

yes the Features of the QBU 88 are close but the operation would not work as the QBU 88 is a the semiautomatic weapons system based on the Dragonov operation as system optimized too the DMP mission not a automatic Assault Rifle. besides which I would also make changes of the nature too the QBU88 ( mostly in adding more rail space for sights and NOD. ) mostly what I am saying is that in place of replacing the entire system out of hand, the concept would be too fallow he led of a large number western system ( many of which they QBZ95 was based on) that are in place of ending production updating by changing furniture and reconfiguring the system into a new system.
in example the Styer AUG A3.

I finally got to see that clip on Stargate Atlantis and wooh its a sight to see that Wraith hold the Type 95/97 in one hand shooting it straight while the brass ejects from the side port.

:confused::confused::confused:

This is an interesting bullpup. It fires large shells 7.62*51, kicking like a horse. In the video, they only tested the rifle in the semi-auto mode. If in the full-auto mode and firing uphill with forward ejection design, is the rifle going to jam very easily? Any ideas?

is intended too be A semi auto and will likely stay that way.
Second, A forward Ejection system has already been built into a Assault rifle the FN2000
In both cases the systems power the Ejection.

:cool::cool::cool:
Thanks TerraN. In the video, it doesn't look like that the system generates enough power to forcefully eject those spent cases forward.
