The ejection port seems to be in the very front beside the aiming sight.

I'm not sure how that would work. I thought all the ejection ports are close to where the magazine is.

Similar to FN 200 series; forward ejection throug tube paralel to barrel (less problems for the guy next to you) see videos at youtube

hmm the stock is based on the FN2000 carbine ( almost too the point of a this being a Fan Mod) the forearm a quad rail akin too some seen on M4's same for the front and rear "irons" ( sights) placement of the charging handle looks good as does the selector in allowing the user better use of the weapon and the optic looks good ejection is foreword too the right hand side allowing either hand use. changing of the trigger guard too the more conventional style would seem too suggest that the users are transitioning too a rail mounted fore-girp.

All and all très futuristic. but the test is whether it's real.

i dont like the design of the mag housing. well personally i am used to the m-16 series so it might feel awkward to have the mag so close to the pistol grip...i mean wouldnt it slow down the speed of mag changing during CQB?

Wasn't it red cat or white cat?

Maybe, but this is a bullpup, so wouldn't a closer magazine well be better? You have less chest to go by.

Superficially I think it looks great. As for the mag housing... it looks to me it would be easier to slide in without looking than the Type 95. Yeah, it's probably a more complicated weapon, therefore more problems could arise. We'll see what the new rifle will look like soon enough.
