That video was old, from the early 90s(?).
Bullpups has a shorter reach when it comes to bayonet charges though.
And there's always the right corner.
But at least the LSW's drum is left-biased, not centered like most.
As for left handers (whom a lot of my friends are actually... all Asian/Chinese), may I use the feared word segragation? what if you separate the left handers from right, and have the lefties form their own squads? Have them use Type 03 and leave the right handers w/ 95s? Pretty much the same rifle anyway.

One video does not a good system make hell i could pull youtube M4 and M16 vids till i turn blue in the face but that does not correct it's gas system or magazine flaws.

That will be the rifles for the field army, they still like that style.
95 is for elite, storm troops.

Front line are the main regular force they are sent to take and claim territory, Elite are special forces ( who would probably like the type 03 more) these are small units sent in for rapid assaults IE raids, demolitions, scouting, Snatch and grab Secondary units are artilleryman, Mechanics, reservists, copy machine operators, truck drivers basically the guys who should not be in the thick of battle but oh so often end up there .

So do you know the status of the Type 03? Is it in service as a replacement or as a complement to the Type 95? Are the ones in photos show trials and evaluations, or is it really in operation? What's the extent of its use?

how's the accuracy of type-03 rifle and type-95 rifle against 3 meter target?
according to book "AK-47 story" US army discovery when bullet leave the gun barrel,the bullet tend to wobble,this decreases the accuracy,US army engineer use supercomputer to redesign the rifling .allowing the new generation M-16 rifle to shoot far more accurately than her predessesor.
same it said for Israel "tabur" rifle,the rifle able to hit 300 meter head target .-repeatedly.
