High chance the radar arrays on the UGEM and TF2000 are 5x5m meaning a detection range of more than 800km(with ~7500 TRM) compared to the Alp-300G (450km, 5x2.7m array and assuming 4096 T/RM).

Agreements singed with Indonesia for the following systems:

- Aselsan SARP RCWS,
- Cenk 4D naval radar,
- Artillery fire control system,
- Missile data link,
- Roketsan Cakir CM,
- Sungur MANPAD,
- MAM-L munition

Also various MOU about unmanned surface vehicles, tank modernization (IMO for Leo2) and maintenance of missile systems.

Is this the start of the great Indonesian pivot to Turkiye away from SK?

And of course, more is to come:

"We wish this important collaboration to bring prosperity to both Türkiye and Indonesia and reaffirm our belief that we will achieve even greater and more successful projects in the future. The steps we take today are the harbingers of great successes in the future."
- SSB director Haluk Gorgun

Are you hinting "KAAN".... ;)
Maybe, the chance increases with each passing day.

I still don't think Indonesia is going to cancel their part of the KF-21 but are going to minimize it while focusing on Kaan. Their archipelago needs a large fighter with long endurance.

MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) Means little tho as it's not really binding nor serve as any sign of funding.

On the subject of Indonesian technology transfers etc is that, we actually spend or willing to spend kinda little in any RnD project, not gonna expect much.

While for Turkish arms procurement, this will be decided mostly by the banking institution's ability to fund the purchase via external loan (yes we did that for all). For example our Su-27/30 purchase were funded through Singaporean bank as lender. Our Rafale purchase also funded through BNP Paribas which also offer financial lending and afaik their offer was generous if taken they are willing to not just fund 42 aircrafts but also up to 70.

US Deals are handled through FMS which was a G2G scheme. The only time we purchase stuff without FMS, was C-130J Which we obtained via DCS (Direct Commercial Sale) scheme, again foreign bank act as lender to finance the deal.

Now, how's Turkish banks ability to help finance the deal ? Afaik from Alman Helvas, Turkish banking institution offer relatively higher interest rate for loan compared to French or other bank's offer. We can;t use other banks too as Turkiye was considered risky for Business.

Otherwise Instead of MoU, you will see LoC or Letter of Credit. That's when the money will flow

Maybe I wasn't clear enough but the MOU covers the "surface vehicles, tank modernization and maintenance of missile systems". The rest is signed.

Also the CEO of STM was present at the signing ceremony but no word of ships (yet). Also no mentioning of Aselsan naval EW like we've seen earlier on the infographs of the AH140. Not everything is published (yet).

What seems impossible today doesn't seem impossible tomorrow. The trend is noticeable. Prabowo is not Jokowi.
