Selcuk Bayraktar interview on CCN Turk:

- Larger Akinci using TS/TP1400 is still mentioned by Selcuk.
- 6 Kizilelma's are on the production line. Delivery to start next year.
- Kizilelma 5-10 times cheaper than 5th gen fighter.

If you believe this source, Anka-4 is pretty much alive and to be B-2 sized

"For the time being TUSAŞ has already started working on the Anka IV project, which EDR On-Line was told will have “a B-2 size.” "

Is this a gross exaggeration, or should this claim concerning the dimensions of the Anka 4 UCAV be taken seriously?

No reason to opt for that big of a design (i.e. B-2 MTOW is ~150 tons), and invest that kind of money unless Turkey is looking to strike targets several thousand kilometers from its borders.

So if this claim is accurate, then just what or who is Turkey aiming for?

That they are working on a bigger stealth bomber than Anka-3 is plausible but B-2 sized is not. That's why I'm cautious about the report.

Edit: There were rumors last year that TUSAS wants to use F110 for UAV's...

Hypothetical size difference between KE-B and KE-C by 2x enlargement, or 40% increase in lenght and width

Length: 20.58m
Span width: 14m
Wing Area: 76m2
Empty Weight: ~8500kg
Wingload at empty weight: 112kg/m2
Endurance: 2.5 times that of similar sized twin engine heavyweight 5th generation supercruise capable fighters. (4x less thrust+20% better fuel consumption but with half the internal fuel load).

If Baykar wants to have the Kizilema to have a higher topspeed like other manned fighters in the M1.6-M2.0 range and better sustained turn rate, it could settle for a Kizilelma just 50% larger with 20% increase in length and width, fitted with a 20.000lbf engine weighing ~1060kg (based on AI-9500F weight and comparable engines of the era)

Length: 17.4m
Span width: 12m
Wing Area: 57m2
Empty Weight: ~6300kg
Wingload at empty weight: 111kg/m2
Fuel load: 2280 liters or 1824kg at ambient temperature (2x fuel of KE-B to compensate for 2x increase in thrust)
Max thrust: 20,000lb
TWR at empty weight: 1,44
TWR at full fuel load: 1,12:1
TWR at full fuel load+4 Gökhan/Gökbora at 200kg each: 1,01:1

Actual fuel load might be a bit higher at minimum 2700-2800 liters but for convenience sake I kept it at twice the load compared to KE-B.
