Interesting Pakistani involvement in the TF-X program:

"MMU/TF-X Program and TUSAŞ Pakistan Office

There were several posts on social media that Pakistan was interested in the National Combat Aircraft (MMU/TF-X) Program and even wanted to be a partner. TUSAŞ is currently working with approximately 50 engineers as part of the MMU/TF-X Program at the Pakistan Office established in a university campus in Pakistan. These Pakistani engineers, who are TUSAŞ employees, are led by a highly experienced engineer of Pakistani origin who previously worked at Lockheed Martin. The number of engineers working at TUSAŞ Pakistan Office is expected to reach 100 this year. TUSAŞ is also planning to open an office in the technopark established on the old airport campus in the capital city of Islamabad. According to the information I received, the engineering team in Pakistan will complete the production of the scale model of the MMU/TF-X this year and will conduct a series of flight tests…"

I wanna see that scale model flying around with twin TJ90's . Don't let us down Pak bros..

Apparently Turkiye is negotiating to produce an aircraft carrier twice the size of TCG Anadolu (~55k tons)
It would be very interesting if Turkey picks Chinese aircraft carrier technology or components for their carrier. Imagine a two-catapult QE2/Liaoning like conventional CV, using Chinese catapult and arresting cable tech, and maybe even the J-35. That would be an interesting product to sell to the larger countries in the global south. Countries like Brazil, Indonesia, Pakistan, Iran, Argentina, etc.

TUSAS CEO just gave an interview. A summary:

- 5 are built per month. At the moment, Turkey has a problem of not being able to fulfill orders.
- Anka has been exported to 12 countries so far.

Hurkus:
- We exported HÜRKUŞ to 2 countries, and a third country is on the way.
- We have a target of 2 units per month.
- We produced 15 HÜRKUŞs, 5 of which we sold. We will sell the rest and continue production.

Atak-2 (T929)
- The engine of the ATAK-2 will start in a few days.
- It will make its first flight this month.

- The engines of the ATAK-2 come from Ukraine.
- We designed the transmission, and Alp Aviation made the shaft.
- It'll have 1.5 ton payload.

Gokbey (T625)

- Now it will soon fly with these engines.

Utility Helicopter 10 tons (T925):
- T925 The navy version of the Utility Helicopter is being developed.

ANKA-III:
- ANKA-III is currently performing taxi tests.
- Maiden flight will be in the next couple of days.

TF-X/MMU:
- The National Combat Aircraft will be the fastest completed aircraft in the world. We will fly it with our own engine in 2028.
- Preliminary work on the engine of the MMU has been ongoing at TRMOTOR for three years. We have come to a certain point.
- It'll be able to fly supersonic for several hours.
- There will be antennas on the rear overhang between the engines and TF-X will monitor/listen everywhere.

Miscellaneous:
- TAI has over 14000 employees currently. (will reach 16000 by the end of the year)
- TAI has 14 billion dollars of pending business, including everything.
- 1.3 billion dollars was signed with foreign countries in the last 3-4 months.
- We have orders worth 2 billion dollars awaiting delivery.
- The GÖKTÜRK-Y satellite we are currently building is 100% domestic. The most important part is its camera.
- TÜRKSAT 6-A is almost finished. We are conducting the final tests. It will be put into orbit in the coming months.
- Turkey is one of the 7 countries in the world that can build satellites.

Also a new air launched drone with (V)LO characteristics under the wings of the ANKA-3?

The more I look at the TF-X, the more I'm convinced it has a large IWB in the front and a smaller one in the back, partially between the engines. Time will tell.

Do they mean F110-129 assembled in Turkey or a fully indigenous engine? The latter seems almost impossible given the timeframe.

Developing a new aircraft engine is not so easy.

The Turks are too optimistic

But it's better than Indians
