Reminds me of the time when I was on active service on board a Minesweeper in the 1960s. My CO, a RAN seconded Lt-Cdr ordered me to get the young sailors (wearing life jackets) into the water, by "encouraging" (meaning push) those who were hesitant. After the sailors went into the water, the CO and others had a damn good laugh at my expense, as the Aussie Cdr unexpectedly pushed me overboard (without me wearing a life jacket). Thank goodness its was a minesweeper then, & not an aircraft carrier ;)) Ahhhhhh! the good old days, I really miss them.
