The War in the Ukraine

Belarus joining is huge. If Russia really was as hard pressed as some pro Kiev people were claiming, there can be no circumstance where Belarus would join. While Russia can always do a nuclear ultimatum if they're defeated, Belarus runs a real risk to be colonized if they get defeated. So evidently Lukashenko has information which the public does not know which caused Belarus to take this decision.
Lukashenko is dead either way if Putin loses. It does not really matter whether they join or sit out. The moment he loses Russian nuclear shield, he will get deposed and brutally killed like Gaddafi. As we can see, he is not dumb enough to try and play sides there, he must support Putin and pray he wins to have a chance at survival.

As long as its only Russia, Russia cannot "lose" because of nukes, they can just be forced to retreat out of newly taken territory like USA was forced to leave Vietnam and North Korea. Therefore if Belarus does nothing, nothing will change in Belarus either.

However if Belarus joins but Russia fails, the territory of Belarus will be wide open for Ukraine and even Poland.

So this is a huge gamble for Belarus.

Lukashenko was almost deposed until Putin intervened. If Russia loses the war and has to deal with its own economic problems & "licking" the wounds, then Lukashenko won't survive the second attempt. Besides, would Putin even try to help him if Lukashenko sits out the war (essentially, betrays him) in case Russia starts losing? It is absolutely crucial for Luka to support Russia now.

Funny how dual use civilian infraestructure suddenly should be off-limits and attacking them becomes "terror bombings".

Destroying power stations won't stop trucks from transporting new weapons to the frontlines.
Most of the logistics in Ukraine are done by rail which is 45 electrified, and the majority of Ukraine's rolling stock is electric.

Out of +1800 trains, only 300 are diesel

I want to add to this:
This may already be happening from today's strike.

Russia had to respond to the Crimea bridge explosion or else they would have become the laughing stock of the world, the retaliatory Russian attacks were a success.
I find it highly unlikely that Russia will launch an attack from Belarus, at least not until the 300k reservists are ready. So Lukashinko's talk of a combined attack on Ukraine is probably just a way to fool Ukraine into bringing larger number of troops away from eastern Ukraine and towards Lviv and Kiev to buy more time for the Russian military Kherson till the reservists are ready.

They ever left? Because from what I know they're there from the start of the war and were never used anywhere else.

From footage of the strikes, there are important targets hit, but also an assortment of random targets that were hit, for example a pedestrian walkways and the Samsung RnD office in Kiev. Is it bad ISR/targetting or is a bit of revenge mixed in with this strike?

I've heard it may potentially have either been targeting an EU thingy nearby or an s-300 failing to intercept missiles.
