So, how's Kherson front ? Seems news coming from there are kinda slow nowadays despite apparently Ukrainian forces being only 10-20 km from Kherson city.
Strange, not a lot of signal from Mariupol region. Not a lot of troops left behind.

I notice there's no to few popular uprisings or insurgency inside Russian controlled areas.
This leads me to question whether Ukrainian morale is as high as it is portrayed. In WW2 there were near constant uprisings and guerilla attacks against German and Japanese occupation forces. In the Vietnam War insurgent forces could even strike Saigon.
This also leads me to hypothesize that Russia not going after Ukrainian infrastructure in the east like electricity and telecom even though they could have is at least in part because they don't want to provoke an insurgency, which they won't have the manpower to manage.
Even in Kherson and Zhaphorizhzhia Oblasts, there are no popular uprisings, showing that even without direct historical experience of Russian aid, people don't care enough to rise up.In Donbas the people are pro Russia. Considering they were bombed by Kiev artillery for 8 years straight, no reason for them to attack Russians whom they consider saviors.
Interesting comments from Ben Wallace, the UK defence minister. Apparently the UK is going around the world buying Russian equipment to give to the Ukraine.
He also seems to think only 23 countries have Russian equipment, which is obviously not true.
Any thoughts what he's buying and who from? No doubt India would be the prime candidate.
