The War in the Ukraine

They got 200 old T-72 from Poland indeed, but lost 3000, they lost probably 50 a days or more...so 4 days worth of tanks.

Germany will keep their tanks (245) so do most European countries even if France decide to send all Leclerc Tank, it will be just 220 more !

Canada could send all of our MBT (around 100 old leopard 1 and 2, 80 with guns, 10 for parts and 10 converted recovery vehicule), we have no use for them, we bought them to fight in Afghanistan. If we do they will arrive in 6 months or so. OUr governement is so stupid that they are able to send them, no kidding.

Do you think it would make a difference ?

I guess it all remains to be seen. Looks like right now NATO is only sending surplus equipment. When those run out, will they crank up the production lines?

As far as I know, the only operational Tu-95's are the MS variants built in the 80's which are Kh-55/Kh-101 platforms.
Russia ironically needs dumb bombs at the moment. High volume of fire is becoming more important than standoff range for the Donbass portion of the conflict, unless those Tu-95s are doing standoff interdiction.

So I was thinking about it. You know how Americans are pretty stupid right? All those high end Javelin and NLAW and M777 and Stinger falling into the hands of Russians in Ukraine. So what if China does a mock invasion of Russia and over run some border villages temporarily. Then the US send thousands of M1A2 and F-16 to Russia to fight back. Boom, Russia gets all those high end western hardware for free. Americans would get played by China and Russia. :D
No you sound like an over excited 5 year old. If you want to have a future on this forum, you need to settle down and start posting in a mature and considered manner. Simply posting half of twitter with a few very obvious comments is not the standard we want.
Less volume of postings and more quality analysis will go a long way.
Otherwise I start to consider you a spammer and those do not last very long in this place..

Ukraine has to hold out for the next six months. After that, aid will slowly increase as industrial production ramps up.

This war will last for at least two years, even longer.

Interesting comments from Ben Wallace, the UK defence minister. Apparently the UK is going around the world buying Russian equipment to give to the Ukraine.
He also seems to think only 23 countries have Russian equipment, which is obviously not true.

Any thoughts what he's buying and who from? No doubt India would be the prime candidate.

What can they get that doesn't require a complete retraining and reformulation of Ukranian doctrine, though?.

After the surplus T-72's are done with, they will probably get Leo 1's which already is something completely different to what they have, and firepower wise is actually a downgrade.
Once they burn through those, what will they get, Leo 2's?. That would probably require massive amouts of retraining of ukrainian crews and I don't see Leo 2A4 users giving up theirs without replacement lined up, which is going to be complicated given the delays on the Leo 2 lines.

And the Ukrainian Air Force is in even deeper shit when it comes to replacements.

They might also run out of abled and willing people to man those systems first, so either NATO jumps in themselves or call it quits.
