LOLS maybe the army is still tired from Vostok 2022. The complacency is staggering. I do wanna see what Russia's response to this is. It's very enlightening to see what has transpired over the last few days. I don't think the Russians should attack in winter, it should be sooner with a greater force rather than just using Chechens and Mercenaries.
Russia has the advantage in winter, they should be training as many volunteers as possible now to prepare for offensive in the winter. scrambling an offensive now just to "respond" is pointless.

Why insist that Russia has some military advantage in Ukraine in winter???... The invasion began in the strongest winter months (between February and March), they took the Ukrainians by surprise and still did not achieve any objective , just at the end of winter they were withdrawing from kyiv and Chernigov... The areas they took to the south was because a large part of the Ukrainian units were infiltrated and offered very little resistance... In strong combat, Russia has lost more than what you have earned in Ukraine, no matter what time of year

On the other hand, it seems that the Chinese networks have become disappointed in Russians and now it is a reason for memes

But why are the Russians pussyfooting on this war? Losing their so-called rebel forces are still a loss to the Russian overall military strength and the more they lose tactical engagements will only further strengthen the resolve of Ukrainian forces that's despite their many inherent disadvantages.

Is Russia this stupid or arrogant or both?

Ukraine: we have shown we can defeat Russians, we need more weapons.

This type news was the reason behind both Kherson and Kharkiv offensives. Kherson was an utter failure and Kharkiv was a success. Price was very very high fro Ukraine only to have some headlines. Russia will regroup and teach another lesson to those who underestimate her. This is literally history of Russia. Russia lost a lot of battles but seldom a war.

This is the great argument of the Russians and the people who support the invasions...

You must understand that the Ukrainians are fighting for their homeland, they are fighting to expel the invaders who attacked their country... The price of defending your nation is never "too high"... Expelling the Japanese invaders from China was NOT "too high", neither was expelling the Nazis from the USSR "too high", you just pay the price you have to pay and period ...

And to think many Russian supporter even Kadyrov himself mock CPC and PLA back in August about being chicken...

At least PLA avoid confrontation that not in favor to them and gain something back from Pelosi visit, Russia just retreat and pretend that it was all planned, it's about as absurd as Afghanistan evacuvation.

Actually winning is more important than face or being humiliated. If you lose you are gonna be humiliated even worse.

Is that why they are using Russian civilian human shields? Is that why Ukrainian soldiers themselves were saying "people here dont like us" when they were trying to "defend" Donbas?

These cities and people are *Russian*.

This is the very reason why Russia is holding back.
