There were reports of Russians regrouping at Belgorod and the recently formed all volunteer 3rd Army training in Russia.
For all we know this will just follow the usual pattern where the Russians give terrain only to recapture it later with massive Ukrainian losses. Mongolian tactics at their finest.

One may say Russian got encircled, the other say Ukrainian gonna get cut-off. It's kinda like half full or half empty glass situation.

The statement of encirclement is just not true. By definition it means a concentration of troops have been surrounded by the other side.
You can be pro Ukraine and say its a strong salient that will lead to encirclement later or you can be pro Russia and say it is another trap that will lead to encirclement once the base is cut off like in Kherson.
Either way, none of the sides have developed an operational encirclement in the sector yet.
