The War in the Ukraine

British intelligence has been horribly wrong since the Ukraine conflict began. Literally every single Western intelligence source has been 90%+ wrong since this started while Russian sources have been 80-90%+ correct. When you have Western sources claiming the Russians are firing artillery on their own troops at a nuclear power plant that they already control, you know there's alot of BS being thrown around. Still, there's that 10% chance they aren't completely BullS**ting, so.... LOL
All western intelligence has been exposed as corrupt and incompetent with this war. The war on terrorism was plenty of evidence, despite claiming to be great terrorism became a bigger and bigger problem after 9/11.

This war has been proof. Zero intelligence agencies managed to predict the war until troops were on the border ready to go in. Throughout the war they've been content reporting Ukrainian delusions and as truth instead of verifying them. Case in point, the crypto-Turk Onyx who's lists of destroyed "Russian" equipment consists mainly of platforms used by Ukrainians and Russians. Equipment used solely by Russians are pretty much absent, despite their abundance in the field.

Only the French fired their head of intelligence, the rest have had zero accountability for this massive failure.

The funniest thing is had they been more honest people in the west would have still paid attention to Ukraine. Virtually everyone I know stopped caring about the Ukraine war a long time ago. As a topic of interest it died quicker than the Syrian war. Everyone thinks Russia has lost all their tanks and missiles and are now stuck in a stalemate, despite the fact most losses have been to republican and auxillary units. The nuclear threat has been completely downplayed and ignored.

I've said many times the USA today is in exactly the same position as the USSR in the 1980s. The government is geriatric and disconnected from the masses of people. Despite massively bloated military spending most of their military platforms are cold war relics. Incompetent and corruption is widespread, it's just called lobbying and "contracting".

I find this hard to believe but we should keep watch. If nothing else we can add it to the list of fake news.
I also find it hard to believe. Just going by Aus media it seem the opposite is true. The progress is going better than initial months. Heck, in first four months or so, the media here saturated with pro Ukraine propaganda, banging on about how brave Ukraine forces are resisting, how Russian forces are finding it tough, how the rest of the "civilized world" are helping Ukraine etc... Plus zillions of opinion pieces describing ways in which Russia can be defeated and Putin finally crumble under internal opposition.

However in last couple months, there is dramatic drop in propaganda and reports. Last week there was even an opinion piece that finally admitted Ukraine is losing the war. Things must be really bad for western media to kinda admit the propaganda they pumped out isn't actually going to work anymore. People will get the truth sooner or later.

Not much information, at least from reputable sources regarding whats going on in Kherson. Pro-Russian telegram claims the Ukranian offensive failed so far except for a town called Sukhoi Stavok, outside Andreevka. Talks of the massed Russian helicopters and armor doing its thing everywhere else, but obviously gotta take it with a grain of salt until the dust clears.

The Ukranians do seem to have hit a fuel storage facilitie in the Zaporozhie nuclear plant, though.

Wikipedia has updated the 3 month old Ukraine counteroffensive to have started today. Apparently all those Ukrainian advances over the past few months didn't happen.

It's totally locked down and only "verified" editors can edit it, in other words pro-NATO operatives.

It's impossible for Ukrainians to take Kherson, no matter what they post on twitter or wikipedia. Mark my words, not going to happen. I bet when this offensive gets proven to be an imaginary one the whole page will be deleted and forgotten about by the ministry of truth.

This Kherson offensive could certainly decide the tide of the war in Ukraine

If Ukraine wants to win, than this offensive must not fail
Offensives need armor, need heavy artillery support, need recon and need control of the air. While you are on the move, you are dangerously exposed to artillery fire. If you get close enough, you are exposed to enemy fire from dug in positions. From what I understand, the Ukrainians have recon due to NATO support, but even that is somewhat limited because they can't send large number of drones. Drones will be taken out quickly. They have limited artillery and almost no armor left. It will almost certainly end badly.

More text added to the article.

Russian troops caused “great losses” to the Ukrainian attackers during the day’s battles, including 26 tanks, 23 armored fighting vehicles, nine more armored vehicles, two SU-25 ground-attack jets and more than 560 troops, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Monday evening.

If the Russian claims are somewhat accurate or true then it doesn’t seem like Ukraine commit all that much into the offensive. Either they don’t have the resources for a bigger one or this offensive was a PR move to satisfy the western media that was parading it a few weeks earlier.
