A Ukrainian tank was hijacked by Russian militias. Events unfolded like this: four Ukrainian tanks and fifty soldiers tried to drive the Donetsk militias out of their positions. In a battle that lasted 5 hours, the militia went into the flanks and destroyed three vehicles with blows to the sides of Ukrainian tanks. The fourth stalled Ukrainian tank, under the cover of a smoke screen, was driven from the battlefield by the militias. The commander of this tank was also taken prisoner. Details in the video, the video has subtitles.

"Lets get rid of the A-10 because it is useless against our adversaries, so lets give them to Ukraine...which is fighting one of our adversaries" without single hint of irony

Then there is the fact of how really useful they will be. Ukranians don't do much with the Su-25's they have left as it is and it is a plane they are quite familiar with; how effectively they will be able to use a completely new system which follows a completely different use philosophy is a whole different can of worms. The only "advantage" in this case, as with other systems is that it the A-10C's come with Link-16, so they can be fed information directly by NATO ISR assets.

But other than that, at this point, they seem to be just throwing names out there without serious intention of handing over most of it, just to get people to talk.

A-10 makes a lot of sense. It's not exported. So having it shot down doesn't affect sales.

Hitting warehouse in Bakhmut.

Attack aircraft covering convoy near Slaviansk.

Helicopter attacks. Alligator and Havoc seem to operate in pairs. Alligator is better at recon having radar while Havoc is better at attack with EO for both pilot and gunner.

ATGM attack BMP.

I really doubt they will send expensive planes. The West would also implode if one of these aircraft somehow ends up fully intact on a Russian airfield.

It's a shame really, it would be cool if the Russians could get their hands on an F22, or F35.

That one of the Polish improved T72M1, that didn't take very long.
