Hitting Russian civilians infrastructures make Ukraine more prone to have harder strikes on theirs. It look like they are doing it anyway... at least they could try to only strike industrial facilities.

They can use them to hit a military airports or a military factories. Maybe they could score a good hit but it's the amount needed to turn the tide that is unachievable.

155th Marine Infantry and VDV are making rapid progress in Kursk, already more than a dozen villages retaken hours after the start of their counteroffensive. 155 seems to be saying they are meetings very little resistance from the AFU. All that bombing of bridges across Seim River already made irrelevant by their progress.

Not entirely sure if this counteroffensive is aimed at retaking land. It could just as well be Russians are feeling AFU is pulling units out to reinforce Donbass so they aim to keep as many as possible stuck in Kursk.

This was always going to come, no surprises there

Kursk is a big chance for Russia to overrun and destroy units entirely. Unlike Donbass it is flat and undefendible. This means Ukraine must commit to it, or get overrun. It seems like a mass encirclement/overrun is coming.

So much for the Article 5 circlejerks some people were boasting about

I think it made sense for them to milk Ukraine for as much as possible losses on the mine less flatlands, especially with Ukrainian logistics trains being forced to follow the advanced echelons across Russian state border.

They got so many himars just during this time... No good estimate on how many soldiers they got yet, but it may become more apparent when Russia closes the salient.

According to CNN and their sources, Ukraine has used most of their ATACMS stockpile and the remaining stockpiles in the US are limited and the government is reluctant to transfer them, regardless of the lift on the ban on using them against Russian territory.

The guidance system on UMPK kits are so refined now, that FABs don't miss. Three house targets in Petropavlovka in the Kupyansk direction gets right on the button hits with FABs.

Forpost-RU takes out two Ukrainian tanks in the village of Goncharovka, west of Sudzha. Already the UAV and it's operator is being called the Ghost of Suja. Previously I made a post of a Forpost-RU dropping a KAB-20 on a Ukrainian force, along with a UAV using an X-UAV missile on a Ukrainian tank, and I suspect these events are from the same UAV. The two tanks here are likely taken out by X-UAV missiles. I am not sure if the UAV is a Forpost-RU or an Orion.


Another 155mm SPG 2S22 Bogdan gets taken out, this time in the Vremevsky sector.


Just a correction. The VDV unit in the Kursk counterattack is the 56th VDV Regiment which are made from Crimeans and previously involved in the Rabotino Verbove battles. The unit captured Komarovka then Vishnevka. In the meantime the 106th VDV captured Snagost.

Reviewing once again the Geran take out of the Ukrainian S-300P launcher. The Geran drone dived into the launcher with a direct hit. Makes me think this is indeed camera guided not GPS. If true this is a new Geran variant and would be the first case it is used.
