Some Ukrainian sources claim that General Sirsky proposed to President Zelensky to withdraw troops and assets from the Kursk direction in order to organize a counterattack on Pokrovsk, but Zelensky is reportedly resisting.
Sirsky is at the strategic level and has all the conditions and information to propose a better course of action, especially in a situation as critical as Pokrovsk. He should be listened to more carefully. This kind of political interference in military decisions, if it is really happening now, has already led to the dismissal of General Zaluzhny.
I think it would do Zelensky good to replace his combat-style attire with a suit from time to time. Perhaps it would help him remember that his position as supreme commander should be limited to the political level of war.
