The War in the Ukraine

This is in Taiwan and apparently might not have anything to do with the Ukraine conflict. Except that its about the high fail probability of the TOW-2 missiles the US sent to the island which also reflects what they sent to Ukraine. About seven missiles hit their targets out of seventeen fired during an exercise.
This might explain why none of the M2 Bradleys Ukraine uses seem to have the TOW in them. I had heard reports that TOW missiles were used by anti-Assad forces in Syria and that the worldwide stocks of the missiles were somewhat depleted as well.

Guys … but are not all other explanations like pilot error, friendly fire or technical malfunction are much more likely than this - IMO more wishful think than based on facts or reports - theory, a Su-57 or MiG-31 killed it?
It would be likely... If they did not self contradict 5 times. They are cover it up. So I picked the most embarassing cause to explain the cover up.

The most likely cause is lost on ground from artillery.

So Kursk is looking pretty stupid now in the long run huh?

Funny thing is, you don't really need to be some expert analyst to have seen it coming. Yet the world acts like this is somehow surprising. What a messed up world we live in today.

I wonder what it was like in the past. Were western citizens just as ignorant about Rommels advances in North Africa?

Reviewing the strike on the Ukrainian column in Sumy region. The column is over 600 meters long and has more than 20 vehicles. First strike is an Iskander with cluster munitions. Then it appears other smaller rockets begin to arrive, Grad, perhaps, followed by a second Iskander, which has a warhead that exploded above the ground. Then a pause, followed by Tornado-S strikes with cluster munitions with a specific pattern on the forests around the road. There might be other Russian drones carefully observing closely and tracking personnel running away from the column, the Tornado-S cluster munitions were directed at them. It's clear the attacks were meant to kill personnel and not just the vehicles.

Ukraine claims the convoy was peaceful trucks carrying grain supplies. Right...headed to Kursk? AFU frequently used civilian transports for military related transport.

The issue is that old TOW's are limited to a 1500m range over large bodies of water. More than that, the wires touch the water and they short out and fail.

Russia is making another push for Ugledar now that its defenders were used up in Kursk

Direct hit by what seems an Iskander on a target in Kharkov

So instead of focusing on their collapsing eastern frontlines, Ukraine decided to use 200 drones to attack a couple power plants resulting in a couple of fires and no interruption to electricity

What on earth are they thinking?

They tried to coerce Russian population to start protesting i think. They expect average Russians to go panic mode and pushing their govt for more defenses.

Probably trying to incite unrest like what happened in Rostov after the power shortages. But this will be much harder to do in St. Petersburg - Moscow area which has way more slack capacity.
